every week i look forward to hearing your voice on my headphones; i wait patiently for the podcast to arrive on my machine and dream about the sixty minutes of my week that i can spend listening to the stories that you bring together.
you always start out with a great introduction, a summary of what’s to come, and then you play out a series of acts (maybe three or four). these acts are like perfectly scripted plays, but they’re actually other people’s stories, crafted in a way that the words and sounds just float into my ears and mind. and it’s not just you, it’s the other journalists who also make the stories that you bring together. remember when you all spent two days t rest stop on the east coast of america and told the stories of the people who came by? or the story about the guys who worked out how to cheat on the tv game show? or today’s show, when you brought together the stories of the americans who have been living off the grid or out of the system.
thanks for the great work,
love jessie
